Pepsi Max, known for pushing the boundaries of flavour and experience, set out to captivate festival-goers at this 2024 summer's Wireless and Reading festivals. The challenge was clear: create an unforgettable experience that would resonate with the youthful, energetic crowd. The brief was simple yet demanding – to 'WOW' the audience and ensure that Pepsi Max's presence was fresh, cool, and undeniably inspiring.
To achieve this, we took inspiration from an unexpected but perfect source: Motocross fashion. Known for its bold, dynamic, and edgy aesthetic, Motocross gear represents the same daring spirit that Pepsi Max embodies. It’s loud, it’s proud, and it refuses to blend into the background – exactly the kind of energy Pepsi Max wanted to project. Our strategy centered on this high-octane aesthetic, channeling its vibrant colours, striking patterns, and unmistakable attitude into a collection of festival merchandise. The goal was to create a visual identity for Pepsi Max at the festivals that would not just stand out, but also create a buzz among the festival-goers.
The impact was undeniable. Festival-goers eagerly embraced the merchandise, turning it into a walking advertisement that spread across the festival grounds. Pepsi Max's Motocross-inspired visuals and immersive experience left a lasting impression, reaffirming the brand's reputation for connecting with its audience in innovative and inspiring ways. This activation not only increased brand recognition but also solidified Pepsi Max's position as a leader in both taste and style.
