THE GAZE is a queer Melbourne (Naarm) based Bedroom Pop Artist. Since first releasing tunes in 2018, they have enticed audiences at clubs and festivals across Australia (Midsumma Carnival, HONCHO DISKO, Gay Times) as well as featuring in line-ups in New York and Japan (SWEET, Yamamizuki). Known for their collaborative process with other queer artists, THE GAZE has worked on catchy tracks with the likes of international acts Big Dipper, Robyn Banks and SATSUKI, as well as local legends Yokelust, NIK NAVY and boigod.
Making a 2022 comeback with the debut album GREEN MANSION, THE GAZE continues to tell intimate stories through moody and memorable melodies. For THE GAZE and GREEN MANSION, we developed a reflective brand identity to reflect the themes of an exploration of despair resulting from global climate change as well as a hopeful outlook for the future.
